Our Gretna American Legion Post 216 facility is in need of a full roof replacement.  The loan has been secured, and work is scheduled to begin this spring as soon as weather permits.  Additional work is needed to repair the exterior concrete walls, sidewalks, signage, and exterior paint.

While a loan is secured, we would welcome donations to help defray the cost of replacement and shorten the length of the loan payoff. All donations are tax deductible.  If you are interested in helping, no matter how great or small the donation, you can stop by in person anytime during normal business hours, or checks can be mailed to the Gretna American Legion Post 216 at the address below.  A receipt for your tax deductible donation will be provided.

Donors will be recognized by having their names placed on a donor plaque that will be mounted in the main hall.  Please indicate on your check if your wish for your donation to be recognized publicly on the plaque or anonymously and we will handle it accordingly.
